I AM A NOVICE AND HAVE NEVER LAID ARTIFICIAL GRASS BEFORE, IS IT DIFFICULT?

We understand that not everyone will have laid artificial grass before, with every order you receive a detailed installation guide however we are always available on the telephone to talk through any questions that you may have.

HOW EASY IS THE GRASS TO CUT AND THEN SHAPE?

It’s a very simple procedure, you can either use large scissors or even a stanley knife. It’s as simple as cutting carpet.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO JOIN TWO PIECES OF ARTIFICIAL GRASS TOGETHER?

We understand that you can not always just use a single strip to cover your whole garden, when needing to join pieces of artificial grass together use our joining tape and the adhesive which is available from the artificial grass experts – see our installation guide for more information on this.

DOES THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS HAVE A DIRECTIONAL PILE?

Yes, it will need to be matched when you are joining grass.

CAN IT BE INSTALLED ON SLOPING GROUND?

Yes, various methods can be used to secure the grass i.e a timber beam or pegs – see our installation guide.

HOW WILL MY CUSTOMERS DOGS REACT TO ARTIFICIAL GRASS?

Dogs treat artificial grass no differently to natural grass. It’s perfect for dogs to run around on without turning it into a mudbath !! No muddy paws – No worn patches – Easily cleanable

IS THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS CHILD FRIENDLY?

Artificial grass is soft & springy to walk on and can be used under swings, climbing frames, goal post etc without getting worn patches. Children can play on it all year round without muddy footprints coming into the house.

DOES THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS FADE IN THE SUN?

All our products are UV stabilised so they do not change colour in the sunlight.

IS THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?

A recent study reported that artificial lawns do not emit any harmful odours and they have no negative effect on the natural flow of water. The study could not find any harmful waste material in the storm water run-off from artificial grass. No Petrol / Electric Mower – No fertilisers or Pesticides – No Weed Killers

Delivery Policy

Items sent direct

Item marked “usually dispatched within 2-3 days” are sent directly from manufacturer or ordered in on a priority service. Delivery time on these items may vary but is usually within 3 working days.

Please note that we cannot guarantee next day delivery on these items so please bear this in mind when choosing your delivery method.

In the event that your order is out of stock or unavailable for dispatch within 7 days, we will contact you with the option of either waiting or a refund.

Important Information

Our final order time for next day delivery is 2.30PM. Orders received after this time will not be dispatched until the following day. Please note only tables are available for shipping via next day special delivery. Any additional products will be shipped via 1st class delivery at the same time, which cannot be guaranteed.

Next day delivery is next working day. If you place an order late on Friday or Saturday morning it will therefore arrive the following Tuesday.

If your address is in a remote area such as the Scottish highlands or offshore isles delivery charges will always apply and may vary from mainland UK rates (usually for heavy or high value items)

Next day delivery options to remote postcodes may take longer than the usual 24 hours.

Returns Policy

Item has arrived damaged or faulty

You may return an item which was damaged or faulty when delivered for a full refund. We test all returns. The refund will be issued once the item has been received back and verified as faulty. In this case we will also refund your return postage. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item. Please also read the important notes section below.

You must notify us of the issue within 7 working days after delivery.

Wrong item has arrived

You may return an item which is not as described for a full refund. The refund will be issued once the item has been received back and verified as incorrect. In this case we will also refund your return postage. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item. Please also read the important notes section below.

Customer has changed their mind

You have the statutory right to cancel the order within 7 working days after delivery and have a full refund (cooling off period). The refund will be issued once the item has been received back and processed. Return postage will only be refunded if the item is damaged, faulty or not as described. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item. If you decide to return an item after the cooling off period has expired a minimum 25% restocking charge will be deducted from any refund. Important notes

We cannot accept any items for return which have been specifically manufactured or ordered for you. These items are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations.

We cannot refund or exchange an opened item unless it is damaged, faulty or incorrect.

Before returning any item(s) please contact us for a returns note and authorisation number. We reserve the right to refuse any item that does not have a valid returns authorisation code. Once your return is logged you must not return the item until you here back from our returns department, authorising the return. We will reject any item that is returned before authorisation.

In the case where an item has arrived damaged you will be required to provide a photograph showing the damage before any return will be processed.

Items must be returned with all packaging in a reasonable state. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge to replace product packaging that is missing or returned in a damaged/defaced condition. Where a surcharge is levied this will be a minimum of 25% of the original purchase price.

Items must be returned with all original components unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any items that arrive back with parts missing will be resent to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Any items are returned at your own risk. We strongly advise you to take care when returning items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed & adequately packaged. Items that arrive back damaged or destroyed as a result of poor packaging will not be accepted. These items will be resent to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Refunds

Artificial Grass Online will offer a full refund based on receiving a return of the goods within 30 working days and them being in the same condition as when delivered.
